The company
Brightwild is a Key West vacation-rental and hospitality company founded by Billy Spottswood; Brightwild Adventures is its boat operation, running since 2023 from the Marriott Beachside on North Roosevelt. The boat is a custom 53-foot pontoon certified for 35, with a sister ship that brings private-charter capacity to 70.
Unlike most sandbar boats, the crew is named on the site: three captains and three first mates. The format is all-inclusive, with a sandwich lunch, water and alcohol on the sandbar trips and appetizers, drinks and a champagne toast on the sunset cruise, and no outside food or drink.
“Relax like a local at our amazing sandbars.”

The newer sandbar-and-sunset cruise combines the afternoon on the sandbar with the sunset home.
